Reclaimed wood

General guide. Almost any item can be made to measure in reclaimed wood. Reclaimed wood may well have been used as floor boards, joists or general building structures for many years. It can  contain nail holes, small cracks and other features. These are not faults and are just part of using this kind of timber. There tends to be a clean side and a rough side so you decide which side is showing. The rule of thumb is that it will cost 15% more then using new wood. So have a look at our standard price guides. Reclaimed has to sorted a lot before it can be used. Any tongue and groove backboard used will be new as it is hard to recover this in good condition. Tables with a reclaimed top and painted undercarriage looks very good. Here are some sample pictures of previous items. Contact us for information and prices.
